Congratulations to the boys and girls from Mrs Long's 6th Class on the wonderful performance they put on today in the Jack Kennedy Soccer tournament. It was an endorsement of our sense of inclusion that we were the only mixed team in the competition and with such

a fantastic team spirit it was no surprise that NJS went on to reach the Semi-Finals of what was a tough competition.

The Annual Swimming Gala also took place today and once again it was a great success. Well done to all the children who participated and a particular mention goes to the boys and girls who achieved recognition in the "Most Improved" category.

Following on from Kelly Proper's visit on Friday last it is great to see a number of our students showing an interest in athletics. 
Congratulations to Nabeel Ishtiaq on winning two medals on Sunday last - A GOLD in the relay and a BRONZE in the 200mtrs. Nabeel's talent came to light during the National Schools' competition organised by Bríd Golden and as a result Nabeel has decided to join Ferrybank Athletic Club where he is enjoying the training and also experiencing great success.
