Waterford Sports Partnership in conjunction with Cycling Ireland is delighted to announce they are running Bike for Life again this summer. Bike for Life is an exciting eight week programme in the city and a seven week programme in the county, run by female Bike for Life Leaders for Waterford Women who want to participate more in regular physical activity. This is a fun and easy way to meet like minded women of all ages whilst getting back on your bike, getting fit and healthy for the summer.
The programme will provide a safe environment for participants to increase their cycling confidence, meet and train, get fit and make new friends along the way. The programme will include topics such as bike maintenance, bike skills, cycle nutrition and training spins. After taking part in the training spins, participants will be encouraged to sign up for 50km Kelly Cruise. This is one of the routes on the popular Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford which takes place on Sunday 24th August at 9.45am.
The programme will commence on:

Wednesday 2nd July - 6pm sharp at the Regional Sports Centre, Cork Road, Waterford

Please note: HELMETS are essential for both this programme and Sean Kelly Tour – 50k Kelly Cruise.
